Bastione of Saint Remy

What to do in Cagliari - a good place to visit in Cagliari is the Bastione di S. Remy. From the Saint Remy bastion you can admire the panorama of the city , its outlying areas and the port, which overlooks Angels' Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea.

Monument Address: Piazza Costituzione, Cagliari. It is near Palazzo De Candia, only 2 minutes walk away.

It was built upon the project of the Architect Giuseppe Costa between 1899 and 1902. The building faces the central Piazza Costituzione with a monumental flight of stairs overhanged by a triumphal arch, from the landing there is the access to the Indoor Promenade, seat for expositions and various manifestations.
